November promises to be a busy, fun and holy month at Holy Rosary Church. The “month of the Holy Souls” fittingly begins with our annual orchestral and choral presentation of Mozart’s Requiem in its proper context, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass (Extraordinary Form), at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2 – All Souls Day.
The following Saturday, Nov. 7, our Knights of Columbus council will lead us on an Indulgence Walk at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross & St. Joseph Cemeteries, following the 9 a.m. Low Mass in the Extraordinary Form at our church. This tour of historic graves and prayers for the dead will earn a plenary indulgence for the Poor Souls.
Finally, the K of C presents its annual Pro-Life fundraising dinner, A Knight in Paris, on Saturday, Nov. 21, with Congressman Marlin Stutzman (R-Ind.) as keynote speaker. Tickets for the dinner, auction and speech are available now.
